Week 15: Bears @ Vikings (Monday Night Football)

Late in the season, you typically can't ask for better in primetime than a matchup between a couple of NFC North rivals. Unfortunately, at this stage of the season, it's hard to know where either of these two teams will be in the NFC North pecking order.

The NFL has to be holding out hope that at least one of the two is going to be vying for a Wild Card spot in the playoffs, at worst. And that shouldn't be too unreasonable of an expectation, although it might be a lot more likely to be the Bears at this stage.

The Vikings are planning on trotting out either Sam Darnold or JJ McCarthy this season at the quarterback position, maybe both of them at some point or the other. We saw from Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell that he's capable of putting his quarterbacks in position to succeed no matter the circumstances and the Vikings were almost abnormally competitive last year despite injuries to both Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson.

At this stage of the year, we might be looking at the better overall team being the team that can play better defense over the long haul of the season, and in that case, I'm betting on the Chicago Bears.

Prediction: Bears win 27-22
