Star Bears WR DJ Moore spoke to the media following Chicago's epic 24-17 Week 1 win over the Titans, calming concerns about the injury he suffered in the first half.

Moore went to the medical tent after taking a hard hit on the sideline. He returned to the game and while he didn't post an impressive stat line, he didn't appear to be hobbled once he came back to the field.

Judging by his comments, fans shouldn't be concerned about Moore with a Week 2 contest against the fiery Texans on deck.

DJ Moore Dismisses Injury Concerns After Bears Win

When questioned about his injury during the locker room post-game presser, Moore said he "landed on his side" and just had an ache.

"Great, because we got a W," he continued after being asked how he felt. Moore finished the contest with five catches for 36 yards and an additional 14 yards on the ground. It wasn't the impact he likely envisioned entering the contest, though it's obvious he's happy with the victory.

Chicago's top receiver is in his second year with the team after posting career highs in 2023 with 96 catches, 1,364 yards and eight TDs in his first season with the Bears. He earned a four-year, $110 million extension in the offseason for his efforts and remains the focal point of the offense's passing attack.

Caleb Williams finished with just 93 passing yards in his debut. While that's not the start he envisioned, no one in Chicago's locker room is worried about the box score as long as they got the win.

Fans shouldn't expect Moore to be limited in Week 2. Instead, expect a better performance across the board from what should be one of the NFL's most explosive offenses on the season.
