After a full month of baseball, fans are getting a sense of who could be a serious team in 2024 and whose not.

It's already clear that the Chicago White Sox will finish the year as one of the worst clubs in the majors.

With their season already seemingly over, they are expected to have a fire sale. Bob Nightengale of USA Today released a piece that highlights multiple starters who could be dealt away.

Cubs News: Relief Pitcher Michael Kopech is Expected to be Traded by the White Sox

Nightengale lists Erick Fedde, Chris Flexen, Mike Clevinger, Michael Kopech, and Eloy Jimenez as five starters who could be on the way out.

These guys can provide a solid boost to multiple teams around the league including the Cubs.

Vincent Parise of FanSided lists the Cubs as a destination for reliever Michael Kopech. That would be a move that benefits both sides.

The Cubs are currently ranked 25th in the league in team bullpen ERA (4.81).

Kopech would step in and help stabilize that group. The 28-year-old can hit high 90s on the radar gun and can mix in a slider to keep batters off balance. He has the confidence to step on the mound and have complete command.

This season he has a 4.15 ERA, two saves, and 25 K's. Those numbers can easily improve by playing on a better team with more offensive firepower.

The Cubs should definitely call their cross-town rivals and gauge the price of a potential deal.
