8. Mitchell Trubisky (2017-2020)

Mitchell Trubisky will always be remembered as perhaps the worst draft decision in Bears history. Chicago passed on three-time Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes to select Trubisky, a disaster which fans hope Caleb Williams helps turn the page on.

Once you get over the opportunity cost though, Trubisky actually enjoyed a strong career with the Bears. He led the team to an 11-3 record and playoff berth in 2018, earning a Pro Bowl nomination in the process.

Outside of Justin Fields, Trubisky might be the best dual-threat QB Chicago has ever had. He rushed for 1,057 yards and eight TDs as a Bear but could never overcome the "bust" label thanks to Mahomes' transcendent play.

Compared to his draft class, Trubisky is a bust. Compared to other QBs in club history? He's earned a spot on the top-10 list. Look at his performance from a bird's eye view and you'll be more impressed with Trubisky than you realize.

7. Jim Harbaugh (1987-1993)

Jim Harbaugh is one of only five Bears QBs to throw for at least 3,000 yards in a single season. He led Chicago to a 10-4 record in 1990 and an 11-5 mark in 1991. While Harbaugh's best year came with the Colts in 1995, finishing fourth in the MVP race, he still is one of the most consistent QBs to ever play for the franchise.

He's third in team history in passing yards (11,567) and has the lowest interception percentage (2.8%) of any qualified Bears QB. Harbaugh did throw more interceptions (56) than TDs (50) but that was more a product of the era and offensive style than his own significant shortcomings.

Despite never achieving great playoff success or awards with Chicago, Harbaugh's reliability and durability served the Bears well. Now that he's a national champion collegiate head coach returning to the NFL, his time with the team adds to his legacy.
