The Chicago Bears have a new quarterback under center as they selected Caleb Williams with the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Before they could make that choice, they went through weeks deciding Justin Fields' future with the team. On March 16, general manager Ryan Poles finally agreed to trade Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a 2025 sixth-round pick that can turn into a fourth-rounder based on playing time.

Even though he spent three years in the Windy City, Fields seemingly took a shot at his former club.

Bears News: Justin Fields Takes Shot At Chicago's Culture

After participating in OTAs and minicamp with the Steelers, Fields is already buying into Pittsburgh while taking a jab at Chicago's culture.

When talking to reporters on June 12, Fields made it clear he likes how things are going in Pittsburgh.

"Me being in two different places now, I realize you don't get this culture everywhere. I think Chicago, they're kind of changing the narrative now, but this has been the culture here for so many years. You can see it, just the way that we attack each and every day. Coach [Mike Tomlin], he stays on us about it, so I think just having that, reiterating that each and every day, that keeps guys on their toes. Guys are ready to compete each and every day."

Despite being in the Steel City for a few months, Fields is giddy about Steelers culture. While he was in Chicago, Fields went 10-28 as a starter with 6,674 passing yards and a touchdown to interception ratio of 40-30.

To Fields' defense, the Steelers haven't had a losing season since 2003. Under Mike Tomlin, Pittsburgh has had 17 straight campaigns finishing at .500 or better. Meanwhile, Chicago has had one winning season in the past decade. In addition, Fields' three years in the league all finished with losing records.

Since entering the NFL, he's constantly experienced losing so he could be happy to be elsewhere but comparing the two locations is certainly going to annoy Bears fans.
