Add Chicago Bears legendary middle linebacker Brian Urlacher to the list of people who think the team should draft USC quarterback Caleb Williams with the No. 1 overall pick.

The Hall of Famer shared his thoughts during the Zach Gelb show on CBS Sports Radio.

Urlacher acknowledged quarterback Justin Fields played well down the stretch, but that after three years of still not knowing if he is the long-term fix to the team's seven-decade quarterback problem, it's time for the Bears to move on.

He also pointed out that the Chicago Bears should have drafted C.J. Stroud in last year's draft. Urlacher admitted he was not a fan of Bryce Young and felt Stroud was the better quarterback prospect. Although it is easy to say that now in hindsight with Stroud impressing and Young struggling.

Urlacher has been complimentary of Justin's running ability in the past. He has always been concerned with his ability to operate in the pocket. We know that his former teammate Alex Brown also wants to move on from Fields while Lance Briggs likes keeping Justin around.

Everyone has an opinion, but just remember before those on Team Justin jump down Urlacher's throat, the only opinion that matters is Ryan Poles'.

Poles has stated that he is going to be open-minded about the quarterback position. Williams or North Carolina's Drake Maye, is going to have to reach a threshold where Poles is truly wowed enough to select him.

The franchise has not yet indicated which direction they are leaning. You got the team's social media team recently posting Justin Fields highlights.

Shane Waldron was recently hired as the offensive coordinator. This is a guy who helped turn around Geno Smith's career, so he could do the same for Fields. On the other hand, his system is quarterback-friendly for a rookie like Williams to pick up quickly.

Those on Team Justin or Team Caleb should not get their hopes too much right now. Poles still has three more months to go to pour over the tape, interview Williams, and do a thorough background check. Just chalk this up to another person giving his opinion who just happens to be a legend for the Chicago Bears.
