Breer notes that the Bears haven't actively shopped Fields yet but they are gauging interest and will be meeting over the next couple of weeks to come to a final decision.

The fact that there are multiple teams asking about Fields is an excellent sign for Chicago. They could start a bidding war for their former first-round pick to increase his trade value.

If the Bears move Fields, it behooves them to do it sooner than later. There are more teams with a quarterback need right now than it will be a few weeks from now. Before teams who are looking for a QB fill their need in free agency, the Bears need to pull off the Fields trade.

The Pittsburgh Steelers, the Atlanta Falcons, and the New England Patriots are considered the likeliest teams to trade for Fields.
