Bears Being Pushed to be on Sports Documentary Series This Summer
With the NFL Draft and free agency officially in the rearview mirror, the focus is now all about the 2024 season.
There hasn't been a team that upgraded more this offseason than the Chicago Bears. The biggest change is obviously surrounding the quarterback position. Chicago traded Justin Fields to the Pittsburgh Steelers and selected Caleb Williams with the No. 1 overall pick.
With all the excitement around the Bears, there are rumors swirling about wanting the Bears to join a traditional summer sports documentary series.

Bears News: HBO Wants Chicago to Join Hard Knocks in 2024
The yearly dilemma regarding HBO's Hard Knocks is back again. Back in 2023, Bears chairman George McCaskey made it clear he didn't want his team on the show.
He believed other teams had more "compelling stories" but that isn't the case in 2024.
HBO's criteria to be on the show are as follows: the team doesn't have a first-year head coach, they haven't made the playoffs the last two seasons and hasn't been on Hard Knocks in 10 years. This year, only three teams met that criteria -- the New Orleans Saints, Denver Broncos, and Bears.
Bill Zimmerman of Windy City Gridiron spoke with someone connected to HBO, who said, "The Bears are not only HBO’s most desired team out of the three; they are also the most desirable team out of all 32 NFL teams."
This isn't a surprise. As we stated earlier, no one had a better off-season than the Bears. They added D'Andre Swift, Gerald Everett, and Kevin Byard in free agency. They also traded for Keenan Allen and then doubled down at WR, selecting Rome Odunze with the No. 9 overall pick.
There are so many different storylines surrounding the team heading into 2024, making them the perfect candidate to be on Hard Knocks.
