The Bears Pull Off Another Trade

It would not be surprising to see Poles move down a couple of times in the draft. During the first draft he ran in 2022, he started the day with five picks and left with 11 draft choices.

The Jaguars called and offered up this package to move up...

Another draft trade

The Bears move down and take a safety with their other third-round choice.

No. 96 overall. Javon Bullard. player. . . 3. Safety. Todd other third round pick. Javon Bullard. 527

The Bears cut Eddie Jackson and replaced him with another veteran in Kevin Byard. They also added veteran Jonathan Owens to the mix. They may seem set at this position, but Byard is in his 30s. Owens is a journeyman who is better known for being Simon Biles' husband.

Jaquan Brisker has established himself as an excellent safety, but he plays so physical that is a wonder how long he will hold up in the NFL.

That is why it makes sense to still invest a premium pick at safety. He ran a 4.47 40-yard dash at the combine and produced four interceptions in two seasons as the starter for the Bulldogs.

He does not have ideal size, but everyone agrees he is a good football player.
