The Bears Make another Trade in Round 3
Sometimes a team will move up to make sure they get their guy. That is what happened in this mock draft when the New York Jets called to swap a spot to make sure they got their man in the third round...
Todd draft trade two
The Bears then turn around and find a three-technique defensive tackle with their first third-round choice.
490. 3. . player. Todd first third round pick. . Defensive Tackle. Michael Hall Jr.. No. 76 overall. Michael Hall Jr.
Hall Jr. is the eighth-best interior defender according to PFF. He is an athletic defensive tackle with some of the size traits desired in a three-tech although he will need to add some bulk to play there full time.
Michael Hall Jr. is a DT prospect in the 2024 draft class. He scored a 9.56 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 78 out of 1735 DT from 1987 to 2024.https://t.co/qcjuE90WYw pic.twitter.com/rEP96AX3Rd

The size issue makes him a tweener and maybe more of a fit at three-tech on passing downs. At the very least, he can be a rotational piece for a unit that lost starter Justin Jones to free agency.
