It's no secret that the Chicago Bears are shopping QB Justin Fields. They own the first overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft and are likely going to pick USC's Caleb Williams with that selection.

With that decision on the horizon, it makes sense why the Bears are looking to move off Fields but his market hasn't been as robust as they thought.

QB spots around the league have been filling up so options for the Windy City have been bleak but one team in the AFC has serious interest in acquiring Fields.

Nick Farabaugh of PGHSteelersNow said there's, "legitimate interest from Pittsburgh to explore a deal and potentially acquire Justin Fields.

Bears Rumors: Pittsburgh Steelers Interested in Trading for Justin Fields

The Pittsburgh Steelers inked veteran QB Russell Wilson on a one-year deal worth the veteran minimum of $1.2 million. Shortly after signing Wilson, they dished Kenny Pickett to the Philadelphia Eagles.

That opens the door for a backup quarterback and Fields would make a ton of sense.

Pittsburgh currently has no other QB on the roster and Wilson is only locked in for one year. Trading for an athletic signal-caller with upside like Fields would be smart.

He wouldn't be expected to start and has the opportunity to develop behind Wilson. Fields is only 24 years old and could learn from the 35-year-old while not having the pressure of being the starter immediately.

Everyone knows Chicago wants to move on from Fields so if the price is right, Pittsburgh could be his new home.
