4. Nate Davis, RG

Another offensive lineman on this list is Nate Davis, who was signed to a lucrative free-agency deal in 2023. Originally selected by the Tennessee Titans out of Charlotte in 2019, Davis started 54 of 55 games played in the first four years of his career. He then signed with the Bears, landing a three-year, $30 million contract.

During his first season with the Bears, he missed two games early in the year for personal reasons and then had to sit out four games from Week 7 through Week 10 with a high ankle sprain. He then suffered a foot injury in their Week 18 finale which left him limited at the start of minicamps.

Considering he missed five games in 2022 with the Titans, this is starting to become a major concern. Even worse, when Davis was on the field, he wasn't the same player we saw in Tennessee. He struggled to open up holes in the running game and while he was credited with surrendering just one sack, 29 pressures and seven quarterback hits were attributed to him.

The Bears don't have anyone on the roster to threaten Davis' starting job, so as long as he's healthy, he will be on the field. But his stock is nowhere near as high as it was when he was originally signed. If he has another underwhelming season in 2024, there's a chance he could be on the way out.

Chicago could save $9.5 million and have a dead cap hit of just $2 million if they decided to move on from him and wipe out the final year of his deal.
