2. Demetric Felton, Running Back

When the Cleveland Browns selected Demetric Felton out of UCLA in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, it appeared they might have found a gem. Felton didn't blow anyone away at the Scouting Combine after measuring in at 5-foot-8 and 189 pounds and posting a 4.59 in the 40-yard dash. But he still had a lot of production for the Bruins.

A wide receiver for the majority of his career, Felton moved to running back in 2020 and finished with 1,101 yards on the ground and 958 through the air with 15 total touchdowns in four years. He was also a weapon in the return game.

His versatility allowed him to stick with Cleveland for two years as their RB3. As a rookie, he had 181 yards and two touchdowns as a receiver, 24 yards on the ground, 227 on punt returns, and 172 on kickoffs. In all, that was 604 all-purpose yards.

In year two, his production dropped significantly and he wasn't retained in 2023. He wound up with the Cincinnati Bengals, spending the season on the practice squad.

He now looks for a chance to make the team in Chicago but it won't be easy. D'Andre Swift, Khalil Herbert, and Roschon Johnson have the top spots locked down. Travis Homer and Felton are battling for the fourth spot but it's hard to see four backs making it. There are rumors Herbert could be on the move but unless that happens, Felton doesn't have a great chance of making the 53-man roster.

Those chances seem more slim after he had three rushes for 14 yards and two receptions for 10 on Thursday.
