3. Larry Borom, offensive tackle

There is always going to be strong demand for offensive linemen with experience in the NFL, and Larry Borom has the benefit of being a player in a contract year which teams find attractive in trades because there's no risk attached beyond this season.

Borom is a young player on the expiring year of his deal with 23 starts in the NFL. That's going to draw attention on the trade market if the Bears make him available. And there's reason to believe they would do that.

Chicago's starting tackle duo of Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright appears to be relatively set in stone. The team also drafted the talented Kiran Amegadjie as a potential starting option down the line at some point. General manager Ryan Poles has invested a lot when it comes to free agent money and NFL Draft capital in rebuilding this offensive line, but it doesn't appear Larry Borom is part of the future equation anymore.

The Bears might want to hang onto him in case of injury at any position up front, but if the right offer comes along, we have seen backup offensive linemen getting traded this offseason already. The Bears brought in Matt Pryor as a free agent this offseason and Pryor has the type of experience to be able to push someone like Borom off the roster.

But the Bears might as well get something out of it if he's not making the team.
