Cam Johnson

The Brooklyn Nets have also chosen to rebuild this offseason. They traded Mikal Bridges for a boatload of draft picks and hope to bottom out ahead of the 2025 NBA Draft. Therefore, they are open to trading the rest of their talented players who may help them win too many games and jeopardize their draft goals.

One of those players is sharpshooter Cam Johnson. The 6'8 combo forward is one of the best three-point shooters of his position, hitting over 39% of his attempts from downtown on 5.7 tries per game. At age 28, he is just entering his prime and is under contract for three more seasons.

As a young, rebuilding team centered around a non-shooter like Josh Giddey, the Bulls need as much shooting as possible. Johnson fills that role and due to his $23.6 million salary for next season, he should be acquirable as part of a Vucevic or LaVine trade.

Jonathan Kuminga

The talented Golden State Warriors forward is entering the final year of his rookie deal and is seeking a long-term contract extension. Despite entering his fourth NBA season, Jonathan Kuminga is yet to turn 22, making him a high-upside option for any team acquiring him.

The Warriors have their eyes on bigger fish, trying to pair Steph Curry with another star to challenge for a title. Kuminga is the most important trade chip they have. If they are willing to part ways with him, the Bulls can swoop in and try to acquire him with draft capital, perhaps as a third team in a potential trade.

Last season, Kuminga averaged 16.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game on 52.9% shooting from the field. 6-foot-8 with incredible athletic tools, Kuminga would immediately be the best prospect on the Bulls roster if acquired.
