4. Brandon Marshall, WR 2012-2014

If Marshall does make it, he will have plenty of different options for teams to be tied to. He played for seven teams total, none of which for longer than three years. He was drafted by Denver in 2006, the same year the team drafted Jay Cutler. Cutler and Marshall developed a chemistry in Denver that saw great success for both players. They reunited in Chicago in 2012 after the Bears traded a third-round pick to the Dolphins.

In just three seasons, Marshall ranks 13th in receiving yards in Bears' history and 7th in receiving touchdowns.

Overall, Marshall ranks 16th all-time in receptions with 970 and 24th in yards with 12,351.
His 21 catches in a single game are still a record today. We saw Terrell Owens miss out on the HOF in his first two years of eligibility due to some of his issues off the football field. The same argument will likely be had for Marshall as he had numerous problems off the field which can also be the reason he played for seven different teams.

While Marshall does not have the same numbers that Owens did, he is definitely one of the greats to play the receiver position and should make it in eventually.

5. Lance Briggs, LB 2003-2014

Briggs is the only player on this list who spent his entire career in Chicago. While he is often overlooked due to playing next to Brian Urlacher, Briggs is one of the greatest linebackers in Bears' history. He ranks second in Bears' history for total tackles with 944 - just 5 short of Urlacher's top spot with 949. He was selected as a first-team All-Pro twice and made seven Pro Bowls. He ranks 19th all-time in tackles as well.

Briggs was a staple of the Bears' defensive dominance in the early 2000s and almost never missed a game until his last two seasons. He isn't talked about with the all-time greats such as Ray Lewis or Urlacher but was quietly one of the best linebackers in the game while in the league.

It is probably not likely that he makes it in right away, but there is a world where he can sneak in down the road sometime.
