2. Zach LaVine

DeRozan isn't the only star likey on his way out of Chicago.

Even though he's under contract through 2025-26 (with a $48.9 million player option in 2026-27), Zach LaVine's name has come up in trade rumors throughout the season. Like DeRozan, it doesn't make sense for the Bulls to hang on to LaVine and his monster contract if a rebuild is truly in the cards.

LaVine has been linked to teams like the Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Lakers as the perfect "third star" to help those teams get over the hump. While his numbers are down compared to normal this year, the 28-year-old veteran is still averaging 21.0 PTS/4.9 REB/3.4 AST despite dealing with numerous injuries.

It'll be interesting to see when LaVine gets moved if a trade is on the horizon. While it's entirely possible that he's moved by the Feb. 8 deadline, the fact that he isn't a free agent means the Bulls can wait until the summer to explore a deal if it means improving their options.

Regardless, it seems like LaVine's days in Chicago are near their end.
