The Chicago Bulls finally made the long-awaited decision to retool their roster this summer. Alex Caruso, DeMar DeRozan, and Andre Drummond are no longer with the team. Even though the return for these veterans wasn't what Bulls fans were hoping for, they at least have more hope for the future now that the front office has decided on a path.

The work, however, is not done. In order to fully maximize their 2025 NBA Draft hopes and set themselves up for the future, the Bulls need to move a couple of more players. Chicago needs to trade any veteran that has some trade value, even if it is for second-round picks. Not only is adding more draft capital helpful in a rebuild but trading veterans also helps bottoming out to increase the value of your own draft picks.

Here are four Bulls who will likely be traded this offseason.

Jevon Carter

The 28-year-old has a $6.5 million salary for next season and a player option for the 2025-26 season. With the addition of Josh Giddey and the potential return of Lonzo Ball, there simply isn't a role for Jevon Carter.

Ayo Dosunmu, Coby White, and Josh Giddey will get all the minutes that they can handle in the backcourt. At his best, Carter can be a solid three-and-D guard but he struggled immensely last season with Chicago, making only 33% of his threes. Before his trade value tanks any further, the Bulls should move on from him in exchange for any future-focused assets they can get.
