3. OL Lucas Patrick

After spending most of the 2022 campaign as a guard, the Bears opted to roll with Lucas Patrick as their starting center last season. But, just like the other two former Packers on this list, Patrick fell well short of expectations.

The 30-year-old blocker was putrid in pass protection, surrendering 28 total pressures (25 hurries, 3 QB hits) while taking an NFL-worst 11 penalties across 563 passing snaps. Pro Football Focus gave Patrick a 40.6 pass-block grade for his efforts (or lack thereof), ranking third-worst among 32 centers who played at least 440 passing downs.

If it was just a one-off dud season, Patrick wouldn't have a problem finding a new job. The issue is that the ex-Duke product's shortcomings have become a trend after he tallied a 30.8 pass-block grade last season. Teams need elite protection to give their quarterbacks the best chance at success and it's clear that Patrick doesn't provide that level of reliability anymore.

Unless a team is blinded by his performances from a few years ago, Patrick has a lot of work to do to prove that he still belongs on an NFL roster.
