2. TE Robert Tonyan

Funny enough, Robert Tonyan was another ex-Packer who struggled in the Windy City last season.

Tonyan — who recorded a career-high 586 yards and 11 TDs in 2020 — was mostly a non-factor in Chicago's attack last year. While fellow tight end Cole Kmet soared to new heights in 2023, Tonyan did the opposite, hauling in 11 catches for 112 yards without a touchdown despite playing in all 17 games. Not only were his 6.6 yards per game the worst mark since his rookie year, but his 83.5 passer rating when targeted was a new career low.

For reference, that passer rating would've ranked 36th among QBs last season, highlighting how the 29-year-old TE is a below-average target.

It's looking more and more like Tonyan's 2020 performance was a fluke with each passing year. He likely won't be out of the league just yet, but I don't expect to see him sign anywhere until the free agency pool shallows out a bit.
