3. Rome Odunze

Ditto much was said for Williams. After being drafted ninth overall, Odunze comes in as the tailor-made running mate for Chicago’s leading man – with a chance to be one himself.

What to watch for, exactly? I’m curious to see how synced up Caleb and Rome seem headed into this game. They’ve had all of one offseason together to learn each other’s tricks, and Williams has more onus to understand how to best get the ball to Odunze. How will that connection look in their first real game action?

Williams’ star has obscured Odunze a bit to this point, too. After being one of the best receivers in the nation at Washington, there’s little doubt across football that Rome will find success as a pro, he just happens to share a locker room with another highly touted prospect. With his first chance to ball out on an NFL field, expect Rome to jump off the screen.
