3- Week 4 vs. Rams - Sunday, Sep. 29

It may be hard to categorize any game in September as a must-win game but the Week 4 matchup against the Rams will be a very important test for the Bears to see how good they actually are.

The Bears start the season with three games against AFC South teams; home against the Titans and two on the road against the Texans and the Colts. The Rams will be their first conference game and it might go a long way to decide postseason seeding at the end of the year.

The Rams clinched a wild-card berth last year after a surprising 10-7 record. Sean McVay & Co. are expected to be in the mix for a wild-card spot once again. They lost superstar defender Aaron Donald to retirement, but they are mostly bringing their core back.

If the Bears want to clinch a playoff spot, the Rams might be one of the teams they need to take down.

Following this Rams game, Chicago is playing the Panthers and the Jaguars before their bye week. If they beat LA, that would give them an excellent opportunity to build a winning streak heading into their break. Seeing how the Bears defense does against the offensive firepower of Matthew Stafford and the Rams will be eye-opening for Bears fans.

On FanDuel Sportsbook, the Bears are currently +320 to win the NFC North, behind Detroit and Green Bay. If they win all three of the aforementioned games, they will help their chances of winning the division for the first time since 2018.
