Caleb Martin
With a similar player profile to Derrick Jones Jr, the Miami Heat forward could be an excellent free-agent addition for Chicago. Caleb Martin finished another strong season in Miami, establishing himself to be a high-level starting quality forward in this league.
At age 28, Martin is just entering his prime. He can defend, shoot, and do a little bit of everything. If Patrick Williams becomes too expensive for Chicago, Caleb Martin could be a solid replacement for him.
Because Chicago starts a weak defender at center in Nikola Vucevic, they need to surround him with as many physical and athletic players. That is the only way for the Bulls to have a solid defense and Martin fits that mold. He can guard multiple positions and help build defensive intensity.
With his playoff experience, Martin would presumably always have a ton of interest around the league. So if the Bulls decide to change course at some point in the future, Martin will always be tradeable for positive assets.
