2. Cody Whitehair, Offensive Line, Raiders

There was once a time when it seemed like Cody Whitehair was going to be an absolute mainstay on the Chicago Bears offensive line.

Whitehair was a second-round pick out of Kansas State and looked like he was going to be a plug-and-play player on the interior offensive line immediately. By the end of his third NFL season at the age of 26, Whitehair had made the Pro Bowl and things were looking up. The Bears rewarded him with a five-year deal worth over $51 million in total money back in 2019, putting Whitehair up among the highest-paid interior linemen in the league at the time.

It was all downhill from there, unfortunately.

Whitehair ended up floating between center and guard for the Bears and wasn't good enough to provide them with a solution at the center position despite that being a major problem area for the team the last couple of years. He finally left Chicago in free agency this offseason to sign a one-year deal with the Raiders, where he is the starting left guard.

And in his first game for Las Vegas, Whitehair did not impress, to put it lightly.

The left side of that Raiders' offensive line was totally victimized by the Los Angeles Chargers, but Whitehair led the Raiders in pressures allowed and five pressures in one game is bordering on sieve status.

It was a horrendous debut to start the year for the Raiders' offensive line, and the worst of them all was former Chicago Bears starter Cody Whitehair. This might be his last opportunity to be a full-time starter at the NFL level before he is relegated to emergency backup status, if that.
