3. Dylan Cole, LB

After spending the first six seasons of his career in the AFC South, veteran linebacker Dylan Cole made his way to Chicago on a one-year deal last offseason. The hope was that he could be a reliable special teams contributor after handling a similar responsibility with the Tennessee Titans in 2022.

Much to his dismay, Cole didn't make much of an impact in the 16 games he played with the Bears. The ex-Missouri State defender only registered two solo tackles despite playing a career-high 332 special teams snaps. He also only played three defensive snaps after seeing 438 with the Titans in the previous year.

Considering how Cole has gone the entire offseason without receiving much attention, it's hard to imagine that changing anytime soon. His production last season left much to be desired and the fact that he's now in his 30s signifies that his play might not improve at this stage of his career.

At the end of the day, Cole's best path to re-joining an NFL team might be to fight his way through a practice squad. Otherwise, his playing days could be numbered.
