2. Yannick Ngakoue, edge rusher

When you sit back and think about the entirety of his NFL career up to this point, it's pretty difficult to believe all of the different teams Yannick Ngakoue has played for and how young he still is.

Entering the 2024 season, Ngakoue is going to be 29 years of age. He's already logged snaps for a whopping six NFL teams. He's like the defensive version of Brandin Cooks or something. Ngakoue hasn't been good enough to get a long-term deal anywhere in the NFL up to this point, but he's been a pretty valuable role player to say the very least.

The Bears didn't necessarily get the best out of Ngakoue last season with seven quarterback hits in 13 games along with 4.0 sacks, the lowest sack total of his career so far. Still, there are going to be teams out there that see a guy who has averaged 20 quarterback hits and 10 sacks per 17 games over the course of his entire NFL career.

Like a great three-point shooter in the NBA, there is always going to be space on someone's 53-man roster for a pass rusher as productive as Yannick Ngakoue. He is still just 29 years old, and even coming off of a down year, you've got to figure he's going to be in peak physical condition and will be able to give you some juice off the edge.

I would be shocked if some team doesn't go after him before the start of the season, and likely at some point before the start of training camp. He's going to be motivated to prove that last year was a fluke and that he can still put up numbers.
