There are a lot of big-name free agents still available as we get closer and closer to the 2024 NFL season, including a number of former big-name Chicago Bears players. Over the last handful of months, the Bears have once again reshaped their roster and are looking poised for a breakout year with #1 overall pick Caleb Williams at the helm.

Unfortunately for these former Chicago Bears players, teams haven't been overly eager to jump at the chance to sign them. Which former Bears players remain available (curiously so in some cases) before the start of 2024 training camp?

3 former Bears players still available before 2024 training camp

1. Anthony Miller, wide receiver

Once upon a time, Anthony Miller looked like he was going to be the next big thing at receiver for the Chicago Bears. At the very least, he looked like he was going to be an actual hit as a second-round draft pick when he caught seven touchdowns in his rookie year and followed that up with 52 catches for 656 yards in year two.

Miller couldn't show any real progress in his third NFL season and by 2021, he was sort of floating around the NFL. He appeared in a couple of games for the Texans and Steelers in 2021, and has been getting signed by a variety of teams ever since.

Most recently, Miller actually signed a reserve/futures deal with the Kansas City Chiefs, but was released in May. He's 29 years old this season and unfortunately, if he can't crack the Kansas City Chiefs' 90-man roster, then things probably aren't looking great for his chances of making any NFL roster anytime soon.

Miller has actually gotten looks from both the Chiefs and 49ers within the last calendar year. He'd better hope that arguably the two best teams in the NFL right now still have him on speed dial if any injuries come up.
