2. DJ Moore, Wide Receiver

The Chicago Bears have invested a lot in the wide receiver position the last two years, to say the very least.

They just drafted Rome Odunze with the #9 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. They struck a trade with the Los Angeles Chargers for veteran Keenan Allen, one of the top possession receivers in the league. Last year, however, they made their boldest move to trade with the Carolina Panthers for wide receiver DJ Moore in a deal that involved the #1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Moore was pretty much as-advertised in his first year with the Chicago Bears in 2023, catching a career-high 96 passes for 1,364 yards and eight touchdowns. He established himself as the WR1 of this Bears team, and even with the other acquisitions at the receiver position, he's really been entrenching himself in that role for Caleb Williams going forward.

DJ Moore is the best player on the Bears until Caleb Williams (or someone else) proves otherwise. It's critical for a player with his track record to show up every single day and bring that level of play consistently. It seems like DJ Moore is doing exactly that and he's given the Bears a true go-to threat and one of the most dynamic weapons in the league.
