The preseason is finally through! The regular season is about to commence, and there is optimism.

Led by rookies Caleb Williams and Rome Odunze, the Chicago Bears are looking to improve on its seven-win season last year. General Manager Ryan Poles has done an admirable and calculated job constructing the roster.

Although many voids still plague the team, numerous guys have enhanced the general roster. Many players can earn their first Pro Bowl honors in 2024. Here are three players who could follow in Jaylon Johnson's footsteps after his breakout year:

1. Kyler Gordon

Ryan Pole's first draft pick was cornerback Kyler Gordon out of the University of Washington. Gordon has missed some significant time these past two seasons due to injury. He even missed some time during the preseason. There is no denying that Gordon has elite Pro Bowl potential. He proved that in the preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals, where he had one sack and numerous tackles.

Gordon has all the potential in the world due to his phenomenal speed and athleticism. His versatility proved to be valuable during his rookie season. He was slotted all over the field at both outside corner and nickel.

Gordon can finally focus on being the nickel and is the quarterback of the defense. With one position he can solely focus on, the opportunity to strive on defense is available and can provide a great chance at proving he is a Pro Bowler in the NFL.

The biggest issue has been his health. Kyler can't seem to stay on the field, which has destroyed his progression and development. Identical to safety, Jaquan Brisker, Gordon's focus is simple: He needs to play at the elite level and be available for every game. The focus should shift to his health. If he can stay fit, then there is no telling the similar accolades he can earn like his teammate, Jaylon Johnson.
