The Chicago Bears are armed with two selections in the top 10 of the 2024 NFL Draft. Even though the Bears don't have a ton of picks overall, they are destined to land a number of key impact players, especially early on.

Which Chicago Bears starters could be in danger of losing their jobs to draft picks? Some of the names are blatantly obvious because of the fact that the Bears pick twice in the top 10, but others around the depth chart could be interesting to discuss.

What players should be looking over their shoulder with the 2024 NFL Draft looming?

1. Justin Fields, QB

The low-hanging fruit with this topic is obviously the Chicago Bears' incumbent starting quarterback, Justin Fields. Fields was a first-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and is now entering a contract year with the team.

Time flies, doesn't it?

The Bears are at a really crucial juncture this offseason with Fields. They'll have to decide whether or not to pick up his 5th-year option by May if they don't trade him before that. And right now, the expectation seems to be that they will trade him before the 2024 NFL Draft.

The timing of that trade could be interesting, however. The trade market for Fields seems tobe non-existent. The quarterback carousel will turn this offseason, but which team is going to commit to a year or two of Fields as opposed to other alternatives? And if the Bears are for sure moving on, who is going to pay appropriate value in a trade?

One way or another, it feels like Caleb Williams will be replacing Justin Fields in Chicago. We just don't know where Fields will end up on the other side of that.
