2. Keenan Allen, Wide Receiver

The idea that veteran wide receiver Keenan Allen is cooked is probably a bit premature at this point. We're only in Week 4 of this young NFL season.

But Bears fans have every right to be frustrated at this point with Allen, whose injury issues have persisted in Chicago and whose impact has not yet been felt on the field.

Like, at all.

Allen has four catches for just 29 yards in his lone game with the Chicago Bears and he actually had a drop among his 11 targets back in Week 1. You can't make a sweeping judgment on the entire season based on what happened in Week 1, of course, but with the way we saw Rome Odunze play this past weekend for the Bears, how are the Bears just going to have Allen come into the lineup here in the near future and start stealing snaps from the guys who are actually producing?

Allen is going to have to prove something rather quickly in order to even just get back in the Chicago Bears' "circle of trust". Against the Colts this past week, the Bears got significant contributions in the passing game from Rome Odunze, Cole Kmet, and obviously DJ Moore. Whenever Allen is healthy enough to play, whose touches and targets do you decide to limit?

Maybe there's a chance that the Bears could actually flip Allen to another team by the trade deadline if he remains on the injury report much longer, or simply doesn't have a clear role in the offense over the next four weeks.
