Chicago Bears general manager Ryan Poles has been making one big trade after another since he was brought to Chicago. Could more be on the horizon in the 2024 NFL Draft?

The Bears have certainly done a good job of setting up the roster for Caleb Williams to come in and succeed after they presumably take him with the #1 overall pick in the draft, building up the offensive line through the draft and free agency as well as getting him two outstanding weapons on the outside in DJ Moore and Keenan Allen.

As of right now, however, the Bears only have a few picks in the 2024 NFL Draft. They have picks 1 and 9 overall, but only three additional picks beyond that. Could they trade some players away to acquire additional capital? Who could be on the block?

1. Velus Jones Jr., WR/KR

For the first time since he was drafted, the Chicago Bears might have reason to really be hopeful about Velus Jones Jr.

Jones has done roughly nothing for the Bears as a receiver, or return man for that matter, but the NFL's rule change regarding kickoffs stands to benefit a player like Jones and perhaps throw a lifeline to his NFL career in general. Jones might even draw some interest around the league now that the NFL has changed the rule, but he wouldn't draw more than a late-round pick or pick swap at the very best.

And frankly, even though the Bears' hopes in Jones could be renewed with the kickoff rule change, he might be in need of a change of scenery at this point.
