11. Nsimba Webster, Wide Receiver

Speaking of not getting many looks in the preseason, Nsimba Webster rarely had the opportunity to make a case for himself. He played in three games, and he's the only wideout who played in 3 or more games and had fewer targets than Pettis' 8.

It's hard to pick Webster to actually be leaving the organization, but there's nothing that indicates he'll be on the 53-man roster.

The 28-year-old appears to be a practice squad lifer, having been with the Bears since 2021 while playing a grand total of 11 offensive snaps. He has played 76 special teams snaps over his eight appearances, but being an occasional injury fill-in for the most replaceable role on the team isn't something that earns you a roster spot.

As a vested veteran (four or more years of accrued NFL experience), Webster won't have to claim waivers either. Not that it's likely anyone would try to claim him anyway, but that wrinkle does make it even easier to bring him back on the practice squad.

Given the long time he has spent in Chicago, the two sides probably already have an understanding in place for this season. He'll be cut before Tuesday and signed to the practice squad almost immediately.
