10 Bears Who Won't Return Next Season

2024 may be do-or-die for Matt Eberflus and Ryan Poles. Knowing that, they'll make some tough decisions and opt not to bring some guys back to Chicago.

6. Lucas Patrick

Sticking with the offensive line theme we have going, Lucas Patrick's short stay in Chicago is probably coming to a close.

Patrick was signed as a free agent before the 2022 season. He and Luke Getsy worked together in Green Bay on the Packers before Getsy was hired as the Bears offensive coordinator. When he came to Chicago, one of the first calls made was to Patrick to bring him with.

You know how this went. Patrick and Getsy came on, the Bears lost 14 games in 2022-23, the offensive line did not hold up in 2023-24.

Now with Getsy gone and a likely cold market, it'd be no surprise if Patrick follows his coach to Las Vegas.
