Recent Chicago Bears signing, defensive tackle Grady Jarrett, has done a tremendous job already of making himself beloved by the fans. He's saying all of the right things and hopes to join Montez Sweat to create a formidable group in the trenches that'll terrorize offenses.

Jarrett was solid yet unspectacular in 2024 with the Atlanta Falcons, ranking 71st out of 219 qualified interior defensive linemen at Pro Football Focus. That said, he's a former All-Pro and Pro Bowler who represents a significant investment in hopes of mirroring the Philadelphia Eagles' recent success.

In recent comments by Jarrett, he proved once again why his true colors showcase a person whom Chicago will fall in love with.

New Bears DT Grady Jarrett Proves Why Chicago Will Love Him

When speaking to the media, Jarrett has been everything the Bears could dream of. That was illustrated perfectly after he was asked about his feelings concerning potential revenge against

"I would be robbing Chicago coaches, players, fans, if I was up here worried about how Atlanta made me feel," Jarrett said. "And so to even give that energy to say, 'I'm gonna get back at Atlanta'...We don't even play Atlanta this year, so whatever they're doing ain't got nothing to do with me, you know. So all my energy, all my focus is right here in Chicago."

Jarrett is obviously all-in on his new team. He's been a durable, consistent force up the middle since being a fifth-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, appearing in at least 14 games in all but two seasons of his 10-year career. After being let go by the only team he's ever known, it sounds like Jarrett is more motivated than ever.

That should be music to Bears' fans ears. This defense has been a calling card in recent years despite a setback in 2024, and now hopefully Jarrett can be part of a new era with head coach Ben Johnson. At the very least, it sounds like he's ready to take on whatever role is asked of him.
