The NFL world has seen countless players switch teams once the legal tampering period opened up on Monday.

The Bears made their fair share of additions this offseason, including trading for G Joe Thuney and G Jonah Jackson. On Monday, Chicago added C Drew Dalman and DT Grady Jarrett, following the theme of bolstering the trenches.

Meanwhile, around the league, former Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields signed a two-year, $40 million deal with the New York Jets. That deal included $30 million guaranteed.

The NFL's official Instagram page posted the news of the signing, and Jets WR Garrett Wilson was seen in the likes. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero posted a screenshot of the post, highlighting that Wilson approves of the addition.

There were rumors circulating that Wilson and Aaron Rodgers had some tension last season. The young WR reportedly wanted the Jets to move from the four-time MVP, and they did exactly that. Another reason Wilson seemed to be thrilled is that they crossed paths in college at Ohio State.

Between 2019 and 2020, these two connected 73 times for 1,155 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. During the 2022 pre-draft process, Wilson expressed that he would love to reunite with his college QB.

Wilson said, "Definitely to link back up with Justin at the NFL level would be a dream come true, for sure."

Even though it didn't happen in 2022, these two guys are back together in New York. Wilson has caught a touchdown pass from six different QBs during his time with New York, and now he'll get the chance to do so with one of his close friends.

After getting traded to the Steelers last year, Fields ended up starting six games for them. He went 4-2 in those outings, completing a career-high 65.8% of his throws for 1,106 passing yards with five passing scores and one interception. He added 289 rushing yards with an additional five scores.

Fields will have a chance to showcase his skills with the Jets in 2025 and get a chance to play with one of his boys from college. And that's always fun.
