Training camp will get started this month, as all 32 teams will report back to their facilities to get full steam ahead for the 2025 season.
There was a lot of movement around the league, and several former Chicago Bears have found new spots. Justin Fields landed with the New York Jets on a two-year, $40 million deal that included $30 million guaranteed. He was brought in to be their starter after the Aaron Rodgers experiment crashed and burned in New York.
Fields has been given the opportunity to be QB1 with Aaron Glenn in town, and the Ohio State product has already impressed his new teammate, CB Sauce Gardner.

Justin Fields Gets Major Love From Sauce Gardner
During an appearance on the "Pat McAfee Show" on Wednesday, Gardner said, "We got a new dawg in town, we've got Justin Fields. He's a dawg. I can just tell that he's locked in in terms of tape, the playbook, everything. He gets to the facility early, & he's one of the last ones to leave. He's really been dialed in. He made a few throws in OTAs where I was like 'YO I did not know he was capable of making this throw'. There's only a certain amount of QBs that can make these throws. I'm talking about his throws are like Aaron Rodgers type of level."
Gardner continued to say, "He's always been a talented athlete & QB. I remember going against him with the Steelers & we had to change the whole game plan, & he didn't even play that game."
Even though Fields has been in New York for about three months, he's been doing all the right things on and off the field. Things ended on a sour note with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and he wanted a chance to show the world what he's capable of.
Making certain throws and getting compared to Aaron Rodgers is huge and shows the type of arm talent that Fields possesses. He still needs to improve as a passer, as everyone knows he has the athleticism to be a dynamic runner.
In his career, he has completed 61.1% of his passes for 7,780 yards, 45 passing touchdowns, and 31 interceptions. On the ground, he's added 2,509 yards and 19 scores.
The 26-year-old will have every opportunity to prove he can be QB1 in New York and has caught the attention of his All-Pro teammate.
