The 2025 NFL Draft is finally over, and teams can look in a different direction in terms of team building. The UDFA market is what teams are diving heavily into, but the free agent market will also see more action.

The Chicago Bears have a couple of former players in free agency still, but one of those guys could quickly land a job post-NFL Draft. Receiver Keenan Allen is on the open market and it might not be for long.

Allen, 33, can still help a team out. He's a crafty route runner with strong hands at the catch point. Granted, he's not going to beat defenders with his speed at this point but that doesn't mean he can't be an asset.

In his lone season with the Bears, Allen posted 70 catches for 744 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. With Ben Johnson taking over, they went in a different direction, and it didn't include Allen. Regardless, there are some teams that could still use a player like Allen after failing to add enough to that position in the draft.

The New York Jets are a team that comes to mind. They have one of the most underwhelming wide receiver rooms outside of Garrett Wilson. They only drafted Arian Smith in the fourth round, but that room could use a veteran presence. New York has Allen Lazard, Tyler Johnson, Josh Reynolds, Malachi Corley, and Xavier Gipson on the roster but none of them are better than Allen.

Lazard's name has been floated in trade discussions, and regardless, Allen is the perfect player who would step in and give that team a boost. Justin Fields, another former Bear, will need more help on the outside, so adding a six-time Pro Bowler to the mix seems like an easy decision.
