Coleman Bennett was released, and Brittain Brown went from a bubble player to off of the bubble with his second preseason performance.Â
Wide Receiver

Bubble - 2 (Scotty Miller, Kaden Davis)
Off the Bubble - 4
Despite a better game from Maurice Alexander, he appears to be clearly of fof the roster based on his playing time. It is down to two players at receiver.Â
Tight End

Offensive Tackles

Bubble -2 (Kiran Amegadjie, Jedrick Wills)
Off of Bubble - 1
Ozzy Trapilo IR
Ozzy Trapilo is back, but is likely to be on IR with a designation to return candidate. Assuming that is the case, he will be off of the initial roster. So, the locks are Braxton Jones, Darnell Wright, Theo Benedet.
Interior Offensive Line

Bubble - 2 (Jordan McFadden, Caden Barnett)
Off of bubble - 4
Even though Luke Newman has not been able to prove he can stay healthy, he should remain a roster lock.Â
Edge Rusher

Bubble - 2 (Jamree Kromah, Daniel Hardy)
Off of bubble - 1
Shemar Turner on PUP
The signing of Marcus Davenport should make him a lock. It also makes things a lot tougher for Kromah and Hardy.Â
Interior Defensive Line

Bubble - 1 (James Lynch)
Off of bubble - 1
Kentavius Street, Neville Gallimore and Jordan van den Berg all appear to be roster locks based on their preseason play. Lynch is likely a lock due to his inside-outside versatility as well.Â
Linebacker
Locks - 3
Bubble - 4 (Keyshaun Elliott, Jack Sanborn, Ruben Hyypolite)
Off the bubble - 4
Noah Sewell on PUP
If Sewell and Elliott remain on the PUP, Sanborn and Hyypolite will be viewed as locks. Sewell looks like a PUP lock, but Elliott might be back soon.Â
Cornerback

Kyler Gordon on PUP
Even with Terell Smith injured, he should be a lock. Cam Lewis is listed with the safeties despite likely getting slot work.Â

Coby Bryant on IR
One of Thomas or Johnson and possibly both will end up on the team due to depth issues. Lewis will play the slot, meaning they essentially have two locks at safety.Â
