The Chicago Bulls are armed with the No. 4 and No. 15 picks in the 2026 NBA Draft, giving the new front office an excellent start to their rebuild. In addition to these two picks with upside, the Bulls also have more cap space than they know what to do with this summer, making this a fascinating offseason.
Before Bulls fans can start thinking about free agency and the trade market, however, the draft is right around the corner. Less than eight days until the draft, let's take a look at an ideal mock draft for the Bulls.
1. Washington Wizards: AJ Dybantsa
2. Utah Jazz: Darryn Peterson
3. Memphis Grizzlies: Cam Boozer
There are no surprises here. The top three of this draft will be Dybantsa, Peterson, and Boozer in some order.
Dybantsa is the most popular Wizards selection in most mock drafts. He has only conducted formal visits with Washington and Utah, while Peterson only visited the Wizards. So, it's likely that it will be one of these players going No. 1. Whoever is left at No. 3 will make it an easy decision for the Grizzlies.
4. Chicago Bulls: Caleb Wilson
Talk about the easiest decision in the draft. While there are a few quiet rumblings that the Bulls may go with a different prospect here, it's difficult to imagine them passing on Wilson. The former UNC standout seems like the perfect Bryson Graham pick, who prioritizes athletic and physical tools above all else.
Many draft experts consider the draft to start with the No. 5 overall pick since this is considered to be a no-brainer selection for Chicago.
5. LA Clippers: Keaton Wagler
6. Brooklyn Nets: Mikel Brown Jr.
7. Sacramento Kings: Darius Acuff Jr.
8. Atlanta Hawks: Kingston Flemings
9. Dallas Mavericks: Brayden Burries
10. Milwaukee Bucks: Labaron Philon Jr.
The next six picks after Chicago can go in any number of directions, including potential trades. This range is full of talented lead guards, and we can expect most of these teams to draft backcourt players.
This order could certainly change, but the latest reports suggest that the Clippers are honing in on Wagler, while the Nets and the Kings are doing their due diligence on all of these guard prospects. Atlanta needs a starting point guard, making Flemings a great fit.
Dallas also needs more ballhandlers in the backcourt, while Milwaukee will likely prioritize upside after the inevitable Giannis Antetokounmpo trade, making Burries and Philon solid choices, respectively.
11. Golden State Warriors: Yaxel Lendeborg
12. Oklahoma City Thunder: Aday Mara
13. Miami Heat: Nate Ament
14. Charlotte Hornets: Hannes Steinbach
How the next four picks after No. 10 will determine the Bulls' options with their 15th-overall pick. This part of the draft is wide-open and can go in different directions. Between the Warriors, Thunder, and the Heat, potential trades are also very likely in this range.
If they all stand pat, however, Lendeborg makes sense for the Warriors as an NBA-ready forward. OKC going for Mara makes sense as a long-term Isaiah Hartenstein replacement, while the Heat go for the three-and-D forward Ament. Charlotte goes with the talented and versatile big man Hannes Steinbach, who fills a very clear frontcourt need there.
15. Chicago Bulls: Cameron Carr
If this is how the lottery shakes out, the Bulls will have a couple of good options with their No. 15 pick. So far, the Bulls have brought in Karim Lopez, Morez Johnson, Bennett Stirtz, Ebuka Okorie, and Chris Cenac for predraft workouts among the potential options here.
Cameron Carr, on the other hand, hasn't worked out with any team so far. This could mean that he has a promise from a team already. Could this be the Bulls?
Given how he is a perfect on-court fit in Chicago, this would make some sense. The shooting guard out of Baylor is a complementary two-way wing who doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective. He is a very good shooter who also happens to be an explosive athlete. He projects to be a high-level defender as well, as he was one of the top shot-blocking perimeter players in the country.
Around the Josh Giddey-Matas Buzelis-Caleb Wilson trio, the Bulls need shooting. Carr can provide that and more, making him a great option at No. 15.
