The Chicago Bears will wrap up the Week 15 slate in a divisional clash on the road against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday. The Bears have yet to win a road game this season (0-6) as they have lost their last three games away from Soldier Field by 16 points per game.

The last time these two divisional foes played each other, Minnesota defeated Chicago 30-27 in overtime in Week 12. Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams went back and forth with Vikings QB Sam Darnold, throwing for 340 yards and two touchdowns.

The Bears’ offensive line did a solid job holding up in pass protection, only allowing three sacks. However, Chicago’s o-line will be without one of their key starters for Monday night’s NFC North clash.

According to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, Bears starting left tackle Braxton Jones has been ruled out with a concussion. ESPN’s Courtney Cronin mentioned the 25-year-old Jones reported symptoms on Sunday morning which stemmed from last week’s game against San Francisco and was diagnosed with a head injury.

With Jones out for Monday’s game, the Bears could turn to rookie Kiran Amegadije, who has appeared in five games this season. Amegadije played four offensive snaps in last week’s loss against the 49ers.

The most snaps the rookie offensive lineman received were in Week 8 against the Washington Commanders (45).

Bears head coach Thomas Brown will likely have to give Amegadije some help on the left side as this Vikings’ defense is one the best in the NFL. Heading into Week 15, Minnesota is ranked fourth in sacks (40) and tied for second in QB knockdowns (54).

Chicago’s offensive line did not do a great job last week against the Niners’ defense, allowing Williams to get sacked seven times. That cannot happen again on Monday night.
