Bears schedule ranking reveals one brutal stretch that could define 2026 season

Chicago’s schedule has manageable moments, but the late-season gauntlet could decide everything for Ben Johnson’s first year.

Now that the Chicago Bears' schedule has officially been released, it is a good time to look through every game and see what will be the toughest tests for Chicago. How does every week rank amongst the Bears schedule?

Week 4 vs Jets

This is an early-season home game against a team with an unsettled quarterback. If this is not a win, the Bears have problems.

Week 14 at Dolphins

While it is a road game, the Dolphins are expected to be one of the worst teams in the NFL. Chicago knows Malik Willis better than most, too.

Week 13 vs Jaguars

Jacksonville was a playoff team last season, but this is a home game in December against a team from Florida. The weather should favor Chicago.

Week 2 vs Vikings

A division game is never easy, but Minnesota will have a shaky quarterback spot this early into the season, and Chicago is at home.

Week 6 at Falcons

A road trip to a potentially raucous environment is not easy, but the Falcons are unstable at quarterback.

Week 9 vs Bucs

The Bucs lost Mike Evans and are in a bit of a re-shift. A road game in Chicago will be tough for them.

Week 11 vs Saints

The Saints are trending up, but this is a dome team traveling to a potentially colder environment.

Week 3 vs Eagles

The Eagles are never an easy win, but it is a home game, and the early-season struggles might show with a new coordinator in Philadelphia.

Week 1 at Panthers

Winning in Week 1 on the road is not easy. The good news is that Chicago is a bit better than Carolina on paper. Still, Carolina will be healthy and will be all in to start the season on a good note.

Week 18 at Vikings

A road trip against a division rival is not easy, but the question is what will be at stake in week 18.

Week 7 vs Patriots

They host the Patriots, but it is a short week against a Super Bowl contender, so a lot could happen in this one.

Week 17 vs Lions

This game is sandwiched between two other division games, making it tough for a late-season duel.

Week 16 vs Packers

The Bears host the Packers, but it is on a short week after traveling to Buffalo. This is a tough stretch.

Week 12 at Lions

A road game on Thanksgiving is never easy, if Chicago has been there before.

Week 5 at Packers

On the road in Lambeau Field will always be a top-three hard game.

Week 8 at Seattle

A road trip to the Super Bowl champions' house on prime time will not be easy.

Week 15 at Buffalo

Late in the season, on the road, in a tough environment, is one thing, but they have three division battles after this, too.
