After the Chicago Bears traded for star defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, they are unlikely to make another major splash at the trade deadline. However, there are still a few good fits available for the Bears to pursue, according to Daniel Popper of The Athletic.

Who could they add, and who is the best fit that Popper outlined for the Bears in his top 50 trade targets?

Chicago Bears have 3 trade targets after Jeffery Simmons

Andre Cisco, Safety, New York Jets

Cisco is in the last year of his contract with the Jets. The sixth-year third-round pick has 59 career starts, including three this season. However, the Jets are currently starting Minkah Fitzpatrick and Dane Belton and using Cisco in a dime role.

The Jets are heading in a bad direction in the standings and could get an asset for Cisco. Cisco could start and put Cam Lewis in more of a versatile role. Cisco could also play the dime role in Chicago. Either way, they would likely upgrade two positions with the move.

Dorance Armstrong, Edge Rusher, Washington Commanders

Armstrong is exactly the type of defensive end that Dennis Allen likes for his defense. He is a wide-nine edge rusher with long arms and a strong run-defending presence. He is in the last year of his deal, and while the Commanders are not out of the playoff mix, they would be wise to get a pick and shed Armstrong's salary.

For the Bears, he would start across from Montez Sweat and complete the defensive line. It would take pressure off of Austin Booker as a depth piece as well. It is not a big splash, but would be a great finishing touch.

Baron Browning, Edge Rusher, Arizona Cardinals

Browning is the most surprising name linked to the Bears. He is a free agent at the end of the season. The Cardinals are also in last place in their division and just benched their quarterback. So, a trade makes sense.

However, the Bears are not the greatest fit. Browning is a hybrid who could play off of the ball at linebacker. He is better in an odd-man front, which is not what Dennis Allen runs. As a speed rusher, he would be similar to Booker, and not as much of a complement that Armstrong would be.

At the same time, if the Bears added him as a third-down rusher and closer, it would be a great thought.
