It may seem like a dream, but the Bears are entering Week 2 without a single player carrying an injury designation. You're not dreaming. The Bears' communications team posted on X showing the respective players listed and their statuses across the week, with all players falling into the FULL category.

Chicago’s clean bill of health reaches every corner of the roster

There are multiple notable players here that can make an impact for the Bears in Week 2, but none of them carry more weight than Ozzy Trapilo. Trapilo has seemingly sped up time on his injury and progressed back to the team at an almost alarming rate. You can read more about his participation and injury here, but just because he was listed as a full participant doesn't mean he'll suit up on Sunday.

Darnell Wright is also a big name on the list. With so many questions surrounding the left tackle position, nobody needed to add in right side issues to the offensive line as well. Wright played the full game in Week 1, but a knee issue threatened his status for the upcoming match against Minnesota. As a full participant, Wright is expected on the field come Sunday.

Kyle Monangai and D'Andre Swift both took two days as a limited participant, but elevated to full to finish the week. Given the dominant performance the Bears' running back duo put forth in Week 1, many are expecting them to continue carrying their momentum forward. With both healthy and ready for Minnesota, the Bears offense should again run the ball down their throats.

The glaring issue facing the Bears following Week 1 is certainly their defense, and in particular, their secondary. Rookie Dillon Thieneman had a great day, but there's no denying that the Bears looked to need help back there while they await the debut of Coby Bryant. Xavier Woods was signed to bring depth to the position, and as Woods didn't participate in Carolina, his return to full strength could make all the difference.

Malik Muhammad also had a great Week 1, and fans will surely breathe a sigh of relief to know he's well for Sunday. Dayo Odeyingbo is in the same boat, given that he collected a tackle against Carolina and participated in over half of the defensive snaps on the day.

Several other players were listed as NIR, or Non-Injury-Related. These are routine days off given to players as the coaches see fit. Nothing out of the ordinary there.

The Bears could hardly ask for a better health outlook entering their first NFC North matchup of the season. Now, they must turn that availability into a 2-0 start.
