The Chicago Bears have been one of the most active teams so far this offseason. GM Ryan Poles and head coach Ben Johnson have been aggressive in revamping the roster, especially on the offensive side of the ball. With the additions of Drew Dalman, Joe Thuney, and Jonah Jackson, the Bears offensive line will look vastly different next season.
That means that the Bears will be moving on from longtime starter Teven Jenkins. In his four seasons in Chicago, the former second-round pick has certainly had his moments but has regularly dealt with injuries and absences, missing at least three games every single season. This made him one of the more frustrating starters for the Bears over the last few years.
With his Bears tenure seemingly over, Jenkins is facing an uncertain future. Despite visiting with the New Orleans Saints and reported interest from the Bengals and the Giants, Jenkins remains unsigned. This continued into this week as NFL insider Aaron Wilson reported that free agent guard met with the Seahawks on Tuesday. As of now, he hasn't signed with them, either.

Teven Jenkins Faces Uncertain Future as He Remains Unsigned
When healthy, Jenkins is a solid starter. He has lined up both as a left and right guard after spending some time at left tackle in his rookie season. His play hit another level after moving to the interior starting the 2022 season.
The Bears are expected to start Jonah Jackson and Joe Thuney at guards with Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright on the outside. There isn't a place for Jenkins in that rotation after he wore out his welcome in Chicago. Yet, it's obvious that the 27-year-old can reach new heights and establish himself as one of the best in his position if he can stay healthy for an extended period.
