The Chicago Bears could add more wide receiver depth ahead of the 2025 season. During the first week of free agency, the Bears reportedly signed veteran Olamide Zaccheaus, who spent the 2024 season with the Washington Commanders.

Zacchaeus could be a potential option to replace Keenan Allen, who is an unrestricted free agent. The 32-year-old Allen is coming off an up-and-down season with the Bears, posting 70 receptions (121 targets) for 744 yards and seven touchdowns.

Despite seeing Allen’s receptions and yards go down from his final year with the Los Angeles Chargers, the Bears would probably like to re-sign him. However, Chicago is doing its due diligence to fill his void.

Bears Host Rondale Moore for Free Agency Visit

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, free agent wide receiver Rondale Moore is reportedly visiting the Bears on Monday after previously visiting with another NFC North team, the Minnesota Vikings.

The 24-year-old receiver was traded to the Atlanta Falcons last offseason from the Arizona Cardinals. However, Moore never played a single snap for the Falcons as he sustained a season-ending injury in August.

Nonetheless, the young wide receiver is looking to bounce back in 2025 and the Bears could use him as their slot option to replace Allen. During his three-year career with the Cardinals, Moore averaged 8.9 yards per reception and 6.9 yards after the catch per reception.

Last season with the Bears, Allen averaged 10.6 yards per reception, but he only had 3.4 yards after the catch per reception. YAC isn’t Allen’s game, but it's Moore, which could give the Bears’ offense a different element as he can line up all over the formation.

That said, it remains to be seen if Moore’s visit leads to a potential deal or if Chicago will explore another avenue to replace Allen.
