The Chicago Bears have a big time offseason ahead of them. They have infused some excitement into the fanbase when they landed Ben Johnson as their head coach.

The roster needs some tweaks as they've missed the playoffs for the fourth straight season in 2024. They need to hit on their offseason acquisitions through free agency, trades, and the NFL Draft.

While fans are pumped to see what additions are made to their team, they won't be happy about the latest development around season tickets. According to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, the Bears are alerting season-ticket holders on Wednesday that tickets for the 2025 campaign will increase by an average of 10%. Last season, the average increase in season tickets was around 8%.

Chicago Bears Increase Season Ticket Prices for 2025

Per VividSeats.com, season tickets for the 2025 season start at $1,287 with an average price of $1,873.

This is something that has been happening around the league, but it doesn't make the news better in any way. Bears fans haven't seen their team win more than eight games since the 2018 season.

Upping the price on tickets isn't what fans want to see. Ticket prices have been going up consistently over the past couple of years, digging deeper into the pockets of passionate fans. NFL teams waste no time dishing out this news even though fans have yet to see any moves the organization is slated to make.

There will be plenty of fans who don't care about this news, but on the other side, some fans want to see how the team builds out their roster ahead of a pivotal 2025 campaign. The Bears don't play a meaningful football game for seven months but they want to cash in right now.

Regardless, fans will be watching the Bears' roster moves very closely over the offseason as ticket prices continue to go up.
