How much more control of the offense does Caleb Williams have?
Williams is now entering his third year in the NFL, but his second year in the offense with Ben Johnson. Last year, he was unlearning and relearning new things. Now, he finally has control of the offense and with that comes expectations. Can Williams show a strong understanding of the offense?
How much can Kyle Monangai eat into 1-2 punch?
Last year the Bears gave Swift 223 carries and Monangai had 169. Swift is entering the last year of his contract, and Monangai is entering his second year in the NFL. So, the thought is that Monangai might ascend while Swift loses touches.
However, Monangai has been banged up and is a bit less explosive than Swift. Will Swift really lose touches?
Who is the third receiver by the end of the season?
The Bears have Rome Odunze and Luther Burden as the top two wideouts. Khalif Raymond is currently the number three, but it might not take long until third-round rookie Zavion Thomas eats into his workload.
Thomas missed most of the preseason but exploded in the finale. Raymond might start the year ahead of him, but by the end of the season they will likely want Thomas to handle more work.
This could be a scenario where Raymond has more catches, but Thomas has more yards.
How much do we see three tight ends?
The Bears have two legitimate tight ends, and they added a third in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Is Sam Roush around to develop for a year behind Cole Kmet, or do they really have a plan for him?

How long does Braxton Jones keep his job?
Jones is the Week 1 starter at left tackle, but Ozzy Trapilo is already coming for his spot. The second-year tackle tore his Achilles, but appears to be ahead of schedule. Does Trapilo push Jones out soon, or does Jones play well enough that they can ease him back? This will depend on Jones more than Trapilo.
