While many Chicago Bears fans have been tying the team to Khalil Mack, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN noted that they are more likely to make a run at cornerback given the issues they have at the position.

If the team wants to add a notable starter, Daniel Popper of The Athletic listed four cornerbacks in the top 50 of his trade deadline big board. Which of them are the best fits for the Bears?

4 Best Trade Fits for Chicago Bears at CB

Amik Robertson, Washington Commanders

Robertson is a seven-year veteran with 42 career starts. What makes him attractive to the Bears is that he can play both outside and in the slot, which allows him to complement and replace Malik Muhammad if he remains injured. It is worth noting that Robertson would be signed through 2027. That could help the Bears, who have questions beyond this year, but would also bring the asking price up.

Riq Woolen, Philadelphia Eagles

Woolen made the Pro Bowl as a rookie but was not quite as strong in the three years after that. After the Seahawks won the Super Bowl last year, his market was not as high as expected, so he signed a one-year deal with the Eagles.

Woolen is likely to leave in free agency after the year, and the Eagles are 2-6. Woolen is only a half-season rental and has some flaws, but is a big swing on potential, which could be a great fit in the playoffs.

Donte Jackson, Los Angeles Chargers

Jackson is the oldest of the options at age 31. He is only signed through this year, and he is currently banged up and has not played since October 4. The Chargers are 0-7, and his return is not going to change the outcome of their season.

This is a move that should cost the Bears little. It could net them an experienced starter hungry for a ring. This is a nice low-risk, high-upside swing.

Nahshon Wright, New York Jets

After starting in 16 games for the Bears last year, Wright has only been active for three games on the Jets. Wright only signed a one-year deal, and the Jets are now 2-6. Wright has played six NFL seasons and has only had a good year with the Bears. He probably wants to return; the Bears need him, and the Jets can gain a pick for someone they do not play.
