4. Billy Donovan, HC

Who said that this list is only limited to Bulls players? Chicago head coach Billy Donovan could also very well be on his way out following the 2024-25 NBA season.

Fans were excited when Donovan helped the Bulls return to the playoffs in 2022, however, it's been downhill since then. The Bulls have failed to qualify for the last two postseasons while going from 46 wins in 2021-22 to 40 in 2022-23 to just 39 last season.

If Chicago misses the playoffs again, Donovan's time in the Windy City could be over. He's a terrific head coach with a proven track record, but he isn't the type who enjoys rebuilds. The Rockville Centre, NY native mutually parted ways with the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2020 when general manager Sam Presti decided it was time for a rebuild.

Donovan is also attached to the Bulls' current core, so giving him the axe makes sense if GM Marc Eversley opts to clean house. That way Chicago can hire a head coach who aligns with their future while Donovan will have the opportunity to chase a championship somewhere that better suits him.

At the end of the day, a deep playoff run is likely the only thing that can keep Donovan in Chicago beyond the 2024-25 NBA season.
